Snap Mini x Verishop

Snap Mini x Verishop

Social shopping just got friendlier! Snap Minis make it easy for Snapchatters to share experiences with friends.

Whether it’s planning a movie night, making a deck of flashcards, coordinating which artists to see at Coachella, or shopping curated clothing collections based on your mood, Minis can be sent to friends for instant feedback.

Like Instagram Shopping, Snap is trying to find new ways to keep its more than 280 million daily users on its app.

Built as a bite-sized app within the platform, Snap has just launched its 12th Mini by partnering with Verishop, an online shopping destination of direct-to-consumer, independent and emerging brands.

The Verishop Snap Mini focuses on unique fashion finds differently than other online shopping sites. Similar to traditional  in-store shopping, consumers can get their friends’ opinions on products real-time as they browse.

Starting with ten curated collections called “moods, Verishop believes they will resonate with Snapchat users with the intent to make the shopping experience sharable and collaborative.

First collections like “The Flirt, “Cottagecore,” “Free Spirited,” and “Dark Academia,” have a distinct aesthetic such as boho, romantic florals, country, or nostalgic academia chic. People can choose their mood that day, then click to view and buy curated fashion and beauty products.

Even though the concept of Minis is new to the US, they have been around for years in Asia.
